Overview

Lake Nakuru park lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Day 1NAIROBI TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

9.00 am – Pick up from Hotel

Guests will be picked up from hotel/ airport and head for the destination in Naivasha.

9.00 am – 12.00 noon

drive along the Rift Valley

12.00 Noon – 1.00 pm

Check in at hotel and lunch

2.00 pm – 6.00 pm – Afternoon game drive

Game drive in the park where guests will get to see various Wide-open grass plains and, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species with the rooftop of the car opened for great views and photography.

Day 2NAKURU NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

Game drive in the park where guests will get to see various Wide-open grass plains and, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species with the rooftop of the car opened for great views and photography.

Day 3NAKURU TO NAIROBI

11.30 pm – 12.30 pm – Boat ride Tour (OPTIONAL AT OWN COST)

Guests will enjoy an amazing afternoon boat ride in Lake Naivasha where will view African hippopotamus in the lake and to the famous crescent island.

1.00 pm – 2.00 pm -Lunch stop

Guests will stop over at a scheduled restaurant where guests will be served lunch and as they relax from the game drive.

3.00 pm – 5.00 pm – Drive back Nairobi

Guests will now head back to Nairobi at their respective hotel or dropped at the airport for scheduled flights of guests.
